The Malala Issue

“Thousands of people have been killed by the terrorists and millions have been injured,” she said. “I am just one of them. So here I stand, one girl among many.”

“I speak not for myself but for those without voice … those who have fought for their rights — their right to live in peace, their right to be treated with dignity, their right to equality of opportunity, their right to be educated.”

Those are the words of a girl a known as Malala Yousafzai, who celebrated her 16th birthday with a letter written by a professional speech writer. Obviously the notes and references she was making can not be from her own side, one can clearly see the way the whole thing is being made to look as if the right to education is more important than the right to LIVE.

The reference she made to the Taliban, mentioning her views as if Islam itself is against education, were music to the ears of every member of the UN who has till now turned a blind eye to the terrorism by the US, who always vetoes Israel out of their terrorist activities, who itself drone attacks the borders of Pakistan killing little innocent children, and the hall was also packed with people where the majority of the people were totally blinded by this girl because the media has already strengthened that “Islam is evil”.

The references she made to the few people she wanted to thank like Budha and a few others, shows clearly that this girl had absolutely nothing to do with the speech. After seeing what Budhists have done to Muslims in Myanmar, this wasn’t really needed. Yes, people will say but that’s not Budha’s teachings, well then Taliban are probably not following Islam, or is this smartness only valid when it comes to Christians and Budhists?

It’s time to wake up and smell the coffee, as the media is and has been ruled by people who have absolutely no shame in spreading lies.

Even one reference to drone attacks would have done justice, as for most of us… a LIFE is more important, because when you have a LIFE you can get educated.
